Caddens Hill Estate. The site will be taking shape in the next month with roads boxed out.
DA approvals for Leppington
GDS successfully achieved DA approval for remediation, demolition of existing structures and a subdivision of land over two development consents for property known as 48 and 64 Dickson Road, Leppington.

Two separate approvals were achieved and ultimately create 108 residential lots and 13 residue lots for future residential development as well as associated site works and road construction.

A regional city embraces and gears-up
While there are further delays to implementing the Department of Planning Industry and Environment’s Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code, Albury City Council has engaged GDS to develope new residential design guidelines to prepare this regional city for the ‘new’ housing types addressed by the Code. We have been able to simplify the Code’s controls, using an innovative approach to setting out performance-based guidelines for terraces, manor houses, and other forms of housing.
Local Strategic Planning Statements
Delays in introducing strategic initiatives in local government when directed by the NSW Government is par for the course these days. Councils have again been given more time to prepare their statements. Regardless, The Hills Shire has pushed ahead and prepared it’s draft statement, which is on exhibition until August 9. As a significant amount of work GDS does is in The Hills Shire, we have examined certain aspects of this Council’s draft Local Strategic Planning Statement and the key implications for future residential growth management in this rapidly growing area.

Halcrows Road, Cattai
From concept to completion, GDS delivering another end-end service to our clients.
GDS town planners received DA approval for 21 lots subdivision being 20 rural residential lots and 1 community association lot. Part of the project scope is also to upgrade the intersection of Halcrows Road to the private road.
We have superintendency and project management for the site. Our civil engineers will be looking after all the hydraulic and stormwater design, and our surveyors and draftsman will be assisting in the registration of the subdivision.
At this stage bulk earthworks have been completed, and all the internal roads are formed and rolled kerb has been laid.
Construction has begun!
Bulk earthworks have started in preparation for implementation of the stormwater and hydraulic and road design from our civil engineers.
Group Development Services Pty Ltd received DA approval for 11 residential lots and 2 residue lots at
6-8 Barry Road Kellyville. Our civil design team of engineers and draftsman have designed all the hydraulic, stormwater and road drainage. We will be continuing on in a superintendency and project management capacity.

With remediation of land done, storm water drainage and hydraulic design and works, telecommunications and electricity are now underway.
GDS successfully received DA and a Section 4.55 approval, completed all the surveying and civil engineering including hydrology and hydraulic design, and storm water drainage, we are also the project managers and superintends for this rural cluster.
